About Fobis Technologies Inc.

Fobis Technologies Inc. was incorporated in June of 1998. Our mission then and now is to build really cool gadgets that are simple to use. Our mantra here is "Building Gadgets for Real Life". Our first product called the weemote® allowed parents the ability to provide a simple remote control for their young children. More importantly, the weemote® allowed parents to actually program only the channels they wanted their children to watch. Even though the weemote® provides a simple interface for kids, it provides powerful programming capabilties so that parents can fully customize it to meet their specific needs.

Over the years, we have designed other simple, user operated remote controls with powerful customization features. These remotes provide simple user interface control for a range of applications, from on-screen menu control applications such as interactive DVD with our weemote® dV to providing simple TV channel control for adults with our weemote® Sr.

Fobis also custom designs remote controls. In January 2003, we developed a really cool remote control that is used in conjunction with iN Demands NASCAR IN CAR package. This package allows NASCAR fans on race day to view up to seven different channels on their digital cable where they can see specific views of drivers and the track! Our remote provided a simple interface to allow iN Demands subscribers to easily switch between the special 7 camera placed channels and the overall network coverage.

We are always exploring other areas for developing handheld devices with simple user interfaces. We see many opportunities to develop simple user interfaces to address the needs of the elderly market.
