weemote X TV Remote Control, White

I purchased this for my 88 year old mother to use. I updated the house to all Hopper and Joeys, which had to include her TV. She was previously on a non-DVR type EZ Remote. She worked that okay, but frequently ended up on channel 555 (for just channel 5) which was a pay per movie channel. Anyway, I knew she'd be lost with this new remote. When I saw this one with limited keys as well as limited channels, off, mute and volume, I knew it was one that I should try for her. It was an easy setup if you FOLLOW the instructions given. I had absolutely no issues and I'm a 57 year old woman. Anyway, she is able to watch at least 5 (that's truely enough for her) channels. It's easy for her to hold. Now, if she can keep from using it on her Lazyboy chair, we'll be doing real good! Thanks for a great product! I'm so glad I google "remote for elderly".

This was purchased for my mother, who has Alzheimers. The instructions were not clear about how to set the remote up. After several emails back and forth, and throughout the day and evening, we got it working. John, in customer service, was in contact with me at all hours responding to my emails. Thinking that I would have to send the remote back, he offered to get on the phone with me to set it up. We did that and voila it works like a charm. Truly excellent customer service and, I hope, a product that will match that performance over time.
